EGG SLIPPER -Wood Joinery-

Since its establishment in 1984, NUNO has been creating unique textiles by combining new materials and techniques in weaving and dyeing regions throughout Japan. The upper of these shoes is made using NUNO's "Wood Joinery" textile.
This is a double-woven textile made of a cotton and linen blend. The twisted yarn creates a crepe-like texture on the fabric surface. It's a design that combines the characteristics of two types of weaving.
